Moving from behind the camera to in front of audiences, Jo Streit uses her real-life experiences as a documentary filmmaker to expose the erosion of American democracy and demonstrate the power of citizen activism. Her speeches delivered around the country inspire audiences to actively participate in the discussion and to resist the complacency that reduces our democracy into a spectator sport. Featuring video clips from her films OF ONE MIND and FLIRTING WITH POWER, Jo infuses the dialogue about political and media reform with humor and insight.
